Donations:
Donations provide The Third Hand Bicycle Co-op with the materials and finances necessary to provide the community with great cycling programs. The Co-op depends on donations in the form of tools and shop supplies, bicycles and bicycle parts, and moneys for expenses. In exchange for your donation The Third Hand Bicycle Co-op assures you that your donation will go towards providing community members with a great facility and programs and ultimately to getting more people up and riding.
Currently the Co-op is in need of tools, semi-operational to operational bikes, locks, lights, tubes, rags, tires, bicycle maintenance stands, and grease. Not needed are mostly stripped bikes or bare frames, waste.
Donation Benefits: - Supporting your community and cycling.
- Enabling potential riders to get up and riding.
- Recycling bicycles and materials in order to promote riding.
Donation Guildelines: - Materials dontations will be assessed for worth by qualified Co-op members.
- The Co-op does not pay cash or do trade for materials.
- An itemized receipt will be provided upon donation.
- The Co-op does not accept “loaner” bikes.
- Donated materials should be in operational or semi-operational condition.
- Pickup of volume donations can be arranged.
